Key Responsibilities

As an editorial board member, you will:

  • Ensure the scientific integrity, accuracy, and quality of the published articles.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the journal by suggesting topics, special issues, and potential reviewers.
  • As per the editorial process, provide the final recommendation on the article. Make informed decisions regarding the acceptance, revision, or rejection of manuscripts.
  • Promote the journal within your professional network to increase visibility and attract high-quality submissions.
  • Identify appropriate conferences for the journal’s participation.
  • Occasionally contribute editorials or review articles in your area of expertise.
  • Stay active and willing to complete the tasks assigned to them promptly.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Hold a Ph.D. in nutrition, food science, or a related field, with at least 6 years of post-Ph.D. experience
  • Have a strong publication record in reputable journals.
  • Possess extensive experience in peer review.
  • Are committed to maintaining high ethical standards in research and publication.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to devote time and effort to the journal’s activities.
