Dr. Neha Sanwalka 
Rungta completed her Ph.D. in Health Sciences in 2012 from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Before pursuing PhD, she completed her Masters in Dietetics in 2007 and is a certified Diabetic Educator from International Diabetic Federation. She specializes in bone, endocrine, pediatric nutrition and growth monitoring. Her paper on “Effect of puberty on muscle-bone relations in Indian Children and Adolescents” received the best poster award at International conference on Children’s Bone Health in 2013 held at Rotterdam, Netherlands. Her research work on “Body fat reference percentiles on healthy affluent Indian children and adolescents to screen for adiposity” published in “International Journal of Obesity (Lond), January 2013” was recognized and awarded by Apollo Hospitals Committee. She has served as a member on Board of Studies, Sir Vithaldas Thackersey College of Home Sciecnes, Smt. Nathibai Damodar Thackersey University, Mumbai from 2009 – 2012. She has been a visiting faculty for pediatric nutrition, research methodology and practical applications for SPSS since 2008 at various colleges. Currently she is Director of a nutrition research and biostatical firm NutriCanvas and also conducts various nutrition based workshops. She also writes frequently for various parenting magazines and websites.
She has participated in many national and international conferences. She is on editorial board of 3 journals. She has served as a reviewer for many scientific journals.
She has co-authored 22 research papers with 307 citations, H index of 10.
